I miss you, but I haven't met you...

"You don't need to be lost to wander."
(or wonder)

Tonight I decided to go for a drive.
Location: unknown    Reason: a necessary escape
When asked where I was going, I thoughtfully paused and replied, "nowhere".
This seemingly simple answer was only greeted with confusion and a questioning brow.
My Question:  Why do we always need to know where we are going?
Over 20 miles later, I found myself daydreaming while listening to The Civil Wars Pandora station, playing through my car, off my phone.  Here I was in a nearby town where I have never been.
Where am I going?
How should I know?... Such a general question.
Where am I going tonight, tomorrow, to school, after graduation, for spring break, for the night, on vacation, throughout my entire life, or after death?

People with their 20 year plans...I used to find them intimidating.  Now, I find them fearful.
They are afraid to let people, love, adventure & change in.
People change, so do their dreams.

Dream catchers originated from Natives Americans.  They are said to change a person's dream.  According to Konrad J. Kaweczynski, "Only good dreams would be allowed to filter through.  Bad dreams would stay in the net, disappearing with the light of day."  Good dreams would pass through and slide down the feathers and to the sleeper.

Lets catch, keep, and chase all of our dreams.
I will not be afraid to let my dreams change and grow as I do, nor will I ever stop following them.

These were my favorite songs on The Civil Wars Pandora station.
